Adopted by people with disabilities and DPOs representing 66 countries at DPI’s 9th World Assembly in Cairo, in partnership with the Arab Organization of Persons with Disabilities. The declaration welcomes the inclusion of disability in the 2030 Agenda, calls for disability to be reflected across all targets — especially those on poverty — and calls for the empowerment and full participation of persons with disabilities, including refugees, women and children.
