Accessibility Statement

DPI is committed to WCAG 2.2 AA. This statement explains what that means on this website and how to report a barrier.

Accessibility is central to DPI’s purpose. This website is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with correct landmarks and a logical heading order on every page.
  • A “skip to main content” link, full keyboard operability, and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Colour contrast that meets or exceeds AA, and no information conveyed by colour alone.
  • Text that reflows without loss of content up to 200% zoom, and respects the operating-system text-size setting.
  • An accessibility toolbar offering larger text, a high-contrast theme, always-underlined links and reduced motion — with preferences remembered on your device.
  • Support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting: animation is removed or simplified when you ask your system to reduce motion.
  • Descriptive text alternatives for images that carry meaning; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with visible labels, clear instructions, and error messages tied to the field they describe.

Known limitations

Some documents migrated from the previous website are being re-catalogued and re-checked for accessibility. Where a document is not yet available in an accessible format, please contact us and we will provide the content in a format you can use.
