Europe

DPI Europe links national disability councils and umbrella organisations across the continent and has worked on the rights of migrants and refugees with disabilities.

DPI Europe was established in the late 1980s and connects national disability councils and umbrella organisations across Western, Central and Eastern Europe. European members engage with the European Union institutions, the Council of Europe and the CRPD Committee.

Recent regional work has included the rights of migrants and refugees with disabilities, digital and web accessibility, and disability-inclusive pandemic response and recovery.
