People with disabilities and disabled people’s organisations representing 66 countries participated in the international conference “The CRPD and the SDGs — no one left behind”, organised by the Arab Organization of Persons with Disabilities (AOPD) in partnership with DPI. The Assembly adopted the Cairo Declaration, calling for the empowerment and full participation of persons with disabilities and for disability to be reflected across the 2030 Agenda.
